Global Intelligence Bureau helps attorneys, businesses, insurers and private clients verify relevant information about people and organizations. A background investigation should answer a defined question, use lawful sources and explain the limits of the available records.
Scope shaped by purpose
Depending on the authorized purpose, research may address identity and aliases, address and business history, civil or criminal records, property and corporate filings, professional credentials, and relevant open-source material. We compare identifiers before attributing a record to a subject and note when a source is incomplete or requires further verification.
Pre-employment screening has additional requirements and belongs under a separate, purpose-specific process. We discuss the intended use and applicable permissions before beginning.
What the report provides
Findings are organized by source and relevance, with dates and context where available. A record match is not treated as proof of identity without appropriate corroboration. We identify what was found, what could not be confirmed and what follow-up may be useful.

We serve clients across New York, New Jersey and Florida, particularly New York City, Northern New Jersey and Orlando. Broader assignments are reviewed for lawful access and local requirements.
